Andrew Cook
andrew_cook.jpgAndrew currently serves on a volunteer basis as the Deacon of Worship for the Spokane Christian Church in Washington state, is the Worship & Arts editor for Disciples Today, and runs FreetoWorship.NET, a website that provides training resources for worship ministries all over the world. A disciple since 1995, Andrew has served as a worship leader in various churches since 1998, and in 2002 he and his wife, Christi, were part of the mission team to plant the Spokane church. The Spokane Christian Church worship band, �The Void Reclaimed� has led worship at various events and conferences, including Relay for Life, 2008 Northwest Youth Camp, and the 2008 International Worship Ministry Conference.
 
Carl Alleyne

theat_shot_9_08.jpgCarl has been involved with the entertainment industry for almost 20 years. A native Bostonian, he has spent his time teaching, performing and making dances in the Greater Boston area for The Boston Ballet, Jeanette Neill Dance Studio, The Bank North Garden and other venues. As a performer, he has performed in front of thousands of people, sharing the stage with artists such as Gladys Knight, the late Ray Charles, the O-jays, Fabolous, SPEECH of Arrested Development, Sir Elton John, Neill Young and others. He did a West Coast tour with his 3 time Boston Music Award Winning R&B Band Eye2Eye.

Carol McGuirk
carol-mcguirk.jpgCarol McGuirk was born and raised in New Jersey's countryside, along with her five siblings.   She has had a life-long love for music and songwriting since her early childhood. She performed with several different bands as a lead vocalist through her college years at the University of Vermont and the University of Virginia. Carol became a disciple in 1984 in Boston, and soon after became a part of the Freedom Singers. She and her husband John entered the full time ministry in 1987, and left for the mission field in 1988.

Darrin Ford
darrenford.jpgDarin Ford was converted in the University of Maryland Campus Ministry in 1994.  He served on the HOPE Youth Corps as a participant in 1998 and as an intern in 1999 and 2000. He also served as the College Music Leader in the Montgomery, MD Region of the Washington DC Church of Christ. He later graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Dance in 2000 and has planned music and performed in conferences in the UK and the USA.

Dave Eastman

dave__kathy.jpgDave Eastman was baptized in the late 1970’s as a college student at the Crossroads Church in Gainesville, Florida. After graduating with a B.A. in English from the University of Florida, he entered the full-time ministry, beginning as a campus and singles minister in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was there he met and married his wife Kathy in 1983. For the past 26 years, Dave and Kathy have served in ministries all over the US and Canada, and joined the Chicago team in July of 2006. In addition to leading the Central Ministry Center in the Chicago Church of Christ, Dave also serves as the congregational Worship Leader.

J. Brian Craig

Brian Craig has become a go-to songsmith when you want catchy-yet-deep, meaningful songs for Christians to sing.  His popular published songs, “Be with Me, Lord,” “I Need Your Love,” and “Great Among the Nations” are being sung in churches literally all over the world.  His newer songs, “Home in Heaven”, “Lead Me to the Rock,” “Praise the Lord O My Soul”, “By Faith,” and “Spirit’s Fire” are becoming new favorites in many churches.

Jerry Maday
dtoday_jerry.jpgJerry Maday - Jerry has been a disciple for 29 years and has always been actively involved in the Worship / Arts ministry. When converted he was a Music Major at Boston University. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Theory and composition from the University of Wisconsin. Presently he leads the Worship Team in the Worcester County Church of Christ and enjoys arranging vocal pieces and composing vocal pieces. He has been married 17 years to Lori and they have four children.
 
Kevin Darby
kevin-darby.jpgKevin Darby has served as a Choral and Band Director, an award-winning producer, and a published composer and Arranger.  Gifted in keyboard, guitar, theory, and song-writing, he has served numerous churches and helped dozens of others through seminars, workshops and worship weekends.  He produced, composed the musical score, and played a lead role in the award-winning original music production, "A little Christmas Spirit", which ran for eight seasons in North Carolina.  He has produced numerous large-scale musical events in congregations from coast to coast.  Kevin has a deep love for leading God's people in authentic, energetic worship.  We are thrilled to have him joining us at this year's conference!
 
Malcom Turner

malcolm-turner-2.jpgMalcolm Turner is the product of a 1960’s “Chi-Town” upbringing, growing up as the oldest of five children in a family whose musical diversity includes Jazz, R&B, Soul, Rock & Roll, Jazz Fusion and others. Malcolm knew in the core of his soul he wanted to perform and, more specifically, play bass guitar. After receiving his first bass guitar and rig at the age of 14, he immersed himself into the influences of bass guitar extraordinaire Stanley Clarke, Anthony Jackson, Ron Carter and Jaco Patorious, to name a few.

Michael Facey
mime-attachment.jpegAs member of the NYC Church of Christ for 18 years, Michael Facey has joyfully served his congregation with the gifts God has given him. He used his talents as a visual artist to create the original “Hope for Kids” logo that provided the corporate identity for the early benevolent work of HOPE worldwide. He subsequently served as a sector leader for the Brooklyn Region and a Program Director for the Youth Development work with HOPE worldwide where he helped to launch and develop Community Schools and the wildly popular StoryTree Gang. Michael has served as a songleader for more than 15 years. He currently serves as the Worship Ministry Leader for the Brooklyn Region of the NYC Church of Christ. He has been married to his lovely wife Shalawn for 12 years and they have 2 children.
 
Ralph Beerhorst

Tina Crawley

Tony Martin
curtis2.jpgTony is passionate about creating powerful music with a  personal touch.  He has worked for 15 years in the Washington DC Metropolitan area as Musical Director and Producer.  He currently serves as the Director of the Artistic Worship and Encouragement (AWE) ministry for the Baltimore Church of Christ, where he oversees and plans multi-sensory corporate worship -- designed to engage worshippers spirit, soul and body; said Tony, “We strive to involve our participants in heart, soul, mind and strength.  It can best be described as worship that is experiential, participatory, image-rich and connective.”  Tony works with a team of worship leaders who bring a wealth of experience and gifts to the planning board, of a church that is as diverse as the United Nations.  Tony has worked hand-in-hand with 30+ pastors, evangelists and ministry leaders from London England, to Anchorage, Alaska.
